New CAPA Chairman Elected


The Most Rev Bernard Ntahoturi was elected the CAPA Chairman during the recently concluded Council Meeting held in Bujumbura from 4th – 8th February 2012. 

 

Archbishop Ntahoturi of Burundi will lead CAPA for the next four years. Archbishop Albert Chama of Central Africa was elected the Vice Chair while Ms Grace Wambua of Kenya is the Treasurer. Other nominated members of the Standing Committee are the Most Rev Nicholas Okoh of Nigeria, the Rt Rev Matthias Medadues of West Africa, Canon Delene Mark of Southern Africa and Rev Peter Deng of Sudan.

 

The officials were commissioned at a service presided over by the outgoing Chairman Archbishop Ian Ernest of Indian Ocean which was held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
